Summer-school 14-18 July 2014

From 14 to 18 July 2014, the International Office (in cooperation with the Campus Akademie) will organise its third „Bayreuth International Summer School“ with 8 courses, each one specialised in a different area of study and research. All courses will be conducted in English by international guest professors. Participants will have the opportunity to theoretically and practically engage for approximately 6 hours each day in various seminars and discussions and to obtain ECTS. Kavita Srivastava from India is doing her doctorate at the University of Bayreuth

Kavita Srivastava is doing her doctorate in the field of Global Change Ecology. The Service of the Welcome Centre for international scholars was particularly helpful for her, as she was supported during her visa application, the search of an accommodation and also with her social integration in Bayreuth. Kavita Srivastava, who has a little daughter, also manages the combination of family and career at the University of Bayreuth.
